Join Nia Black Belt and physical therapist Rachael R. Resch to dance the Kabbalah Tree of Life from April 13 to June 1, and embody seven aspects of the Divine in the sacred anatomy of the Kabbalah Tree of Life.
Like the Hindu chakra system, there are 7 divine energy centers in the Tree of Life Body that nourish us, irrespective of circumstance: Lovingkindness, Strength, Balance, Sustainability, Gratitude, Creativity and Holy Ground. These ecumenical spring classes are rooted in the Hebrew sacred calendar practice of Counting the Omer that extends from Passover through Beltane and Pentecost, and parallels the 50 days of Eastertide.
This class is great for all bodies and all fitness levels. Classic Nia is done barefoot. But it's fine to wear shoes if your body needs to.
Family and friends: If family or friends want to take class with you, great! However, please have them purchase their own class pass - just like if we were in the studio. If you want them to attend as your guest, please let me know and we can charge you accordingly.
Schmoozing: You're invited to a little pre-class schmoozing around 8:50 am before class begins at 9:00. You're welcome to hang out a little after class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and schmooze as well. We are stronger together.
